Call for 2026 CME Speakers

TAPA is currently accepting speaker applications for its 2026 CME conferences. Please read through the information below to ensure that your proposal meets the Academy’s requirements. 

Spring Fling 

TAPA's spring conference is offered entirely online. TAPA's CME Committee is seeking board review topics for this conference. Live lectures will be streamed via Zoom on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28. There are a few opportunities for recorded lectures, as well. 

Live Lectures: TAPA is seeking speakers to give live virtual lectures on medical topics. These sessions should be planned for 45-50 minutes, with 5-10 minutes left for Q&A.  

Recorded Lectures: TAPA is also seeking speakers to deliver prerecorded lectures on medical topics. These lectures should be planned for 50-55 minutes in length.

FallFest

TAPA continues to offer an in-person conference at the fall conference. This year's conference will be held Thursday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville, Tenn.

TAPA's CME Committee is seeking submissions for traditional medical lectures, but priority will be given to lectures involving case studies, professional development lectures, and updates to treatment guidelines.

If you would like to be considered to speak at a future conference, please complete the speaker applications linked below to submit the following:

  • Lecture topic or title
  • Learning objectives
  • Speaker bio
  • References or a list of past speaking engagements

TAPA’s CME Committee will review submissions to select presentations that meet their agenda goals. Conference dates and submission deadlines are listed below. If you have questions, please contact TAPA at [email protected]. 

Lectures must be planned in accordance with the AAPA CME Criteria as the AAPA is the accrediting body for TAPA conferences. 

Tennessee PAs are required to be members of TAPA to be eligible speakers. If you have a financial hardship that keeps you from joining, please let us know so we can work with you.
